An introvert doing extroverted stuff

Heyho everybody~ :)

I'm trying to make it a point to have more updates on my social media from now on, especially on my instagram and blog. xD There used to be a time where everything on my social media was dead and cold. At most, I would only update on my instagram once a week - that's the max I would go.. Annnndddd my blog? Totally dead. :p I guess that has pretty much changed now and I prefer it the way it is. :D However, I'm still always unsure of what I should blog about. Yes, I may be used to ranting on my blog and just talking about random stuff. I may even be able to come up with an essay full of my rants and all.. But I don't want to bore you all. :p hehe. Then again, maybe I should just stick with doing what I do best on this space. Ahhhh, contradictions... x_x

I guess I'm quite an average and boring person o(╥﹏╥)o... I really prefer staying at home lazing around than to be out... Though sometimes I feel a need to go out too! xD Having to juggle school work and having to go for photo shoots actually isn't tedious at all because I enjoy what I'm doing ヾ(o≧∀≦o)ノ゙!!! Hmmm.. Maybe 8am shoots is quite a challenge though - Like today's shoot for MFWstore :p I had to remind myself to open my eyes fully again and again LOLOLOL xD

I think this is Joanne's favourite pic xD SHE EVEN SET IT AS HER WHATSAPP WALLPAPER :X HEHEHEHE

Really enjoy working with this bunch! =D I'm surrounded by nice peopleeeeee *BLESSED* Anywayyyyy, the following pics are all taken by Joanne's expensive-but-take-good-selfies camera. I think it's Casio Exilim TR35? LOL. I had ever considered getting my hands on one before. But I don't think I would spend $1k on a selfie camera that only takes super nice selfies. :( I think we took a lil bit too many photos with that camera in such a short period of time. Too many good photos though!!!! >.< Can't choose, that's why I decided to post mostly everything.... Here goes~~~~ (✧∇✧)╯

 OK NO MORE, BYEBYE :D

J7image (Part 1)

Heyhey! \(^0^)v

3 weeks ago, I went down to J7image at Far East Plaza to get a sponsored new hairdo. I know that it's been some time ago but I wanted to see if my hair colour would last. (And it definitely did) I think it has been close to a year since I had last permed/dyed/treatment/cut my hair xD Honestly, wasn't mindful about my hair at all because I didn't know how it looked like from the back.. O.O

Here's a comparison of my hair before and after I cut and dyed it. (Before on the left; After on the right) I think with my previous hairdo I can seriously qualify for some Japanese horror movie like Sadako. xD I had no idea it looked ridiculously long and shapeless... T_T No wonder when I go for photo shoots, the owners always complain about my long long hair... because they don't know what to do with it.. :X HAHAHA

J.Tang (Jian An) from J7image was my hairstylist whom has cut, coloured and styled my hair ^^ He's really skillful and handled my locks with care and made sure my hair was perfect before I left the salon xD. *blessed* I felt that it was really thoughtful of him to ask me if he was pulling onto my hair too much to ensure I was feeling comfortable throughout the hair dyeing process :D Even though the dyeing process took quite long, the other stylists, especially Andy came over to entertain and crack jokes so I wasn't that bored while getting my hair done. xD  O(≧∇≦)O

Teehee.. Noming while waiting for the colour to be absorbed in :p Thank you Jason for the food! 〜( ̄▽ ̄〜) I was really hungry at that time... #lifesaviour #shagface :p This is probably how I will look like when I'm 80(?) Except with much more wrinkles, dark spots and prune-like skin. xD

FINALLYYYYYY... HAIR AFTER DYING *CLAPCLAP*

I'm not even kidding, this yogurt hair mask smells so good.... (。♥‿♥。)(๑>ᴗ<๑) Jian An applied it on my hair, concentrating on the ends after washing my hair.... but I took extra pumps and applied it myself because I like it so much.. And maybe because I'm kiasu. :X Since it helps to protect my hair from dryness, moisturizes and nourishes my hair, WHY NOT? xD

My hair was dyed a shade of brown + purple on the insides. I'm not sure what are the exact shades on my hair but you may ask Jian An you're interested to know! ^^ However, the purple is more of a tint and is very subtle as I had requested for it to be. It can be seen rather obviously under sunlight though.. :p Honestly, I wasn't quite sure if this hair colour suits me at first but so far I've received a huge number of compliments on my hair. :p

~(˘▾˘~) Thank you J7image for having me that day! ~(˘▾˘~) ♥^^

Babaabaaabaaaatum

Just last weekend I had a short trip to Batam with 3 aunties (mom, grandma and aunt)! xD :X 2D1N wasn't sufficient to complete our whole itinerary that was planned beforehand, sadly. (not for me, but for the 3 aunties - 'cos I couldn't wait to get back home asap lolol xD) They initially planned to have their nails and hair done + massage on the 2nd day but did not get anything done at all O.O... Day 1 was pretty eventful and exhausting at the same time as we had to stick with a tour group and had to travel from place to place quite frequently. Being in a tour group is not my thing as I prefer free and easy. :/ We had lunch at 933 seafood restaurant which I felt was -meh- even though I'm a huge seafood lover. While eating there back then, I kept thinking about Singapore's chilli crab and.. bbq stingray....... and wished I could have some instead. *drools* In my opinion, the food there pales in comparison with the seafood I usually have in Singapore. But then again, the food is super cheap there, soooooo I guess I can't be expecting too much. :)

We visited a number of dry food stalls and throughout the whole time I was sampling on the various types of dry foods. :p I felt bad for sampling so much even though I wasn't planning to buy anything. Therefore, I bought a few bags of prawn crackers. Yes, GOOD KARMA COME TO MEEEEEE~ LOL :x I only spent about $10 SGD there though. :p The rest of my money flew to shopping at Batam's Golden Factory Outlet. Even though the  things there are super affordable, it all adds up. Everyone seemed to be in harmony when saying "cheapcheapcheap" while picking the clothing from different brands HAHAHAHAHA. I grabbed too many pieces that I ended up having to let go of some, otherwise I would be broke :'D oh~ the agony of letting go~~~~ </3 :x

When my mom mentioned that we would be having a massaging session, I was horrified and reluctant to go as I had a rather bad first massaging experience at Shen Zhen some time ago. However, I decided to give it another chance and I was glad I did because it was rather relaxing even though I was trying my best not to burst out laughing when she was on the area of my legs and rib cage xD xD I'm so glad it did not leave me with aches all over my body like how the one in Shen Zhen did. :'D hehe.

When we finally got to our hotel in the evening, I was so sorry I judged it based on the picture on the internet LOL! It was so much more in real life. So pretty and instaworthy <3 <3 Best thing about the hotel is that they had free wifi even though the connection was bad!!!!!!! ❤❤❤ YAY! Oh, did I mention that the place was instaworthy? Well, it was a pity I myself wasn't instaworthy.... AT ALL. LOL. I REGRET NOT BRINGING PRETTIER CLOTHING OK? HAHAHA. Even my grandma said that I looked like I was wearing pyjamus out!!! T_T

I did not want to waste the opportunity to not be able to capture all the pretty backgrounds around the hotel, so I just had to make do.... and give a HUGE SMILE =D <---- like this! Just that my eyes are closed. :p On the second day, we went around the hotel just to snap some pictures, it took quite some time but I guess it was all worth it :p I was their photographer for the day.. I guess it's time I take photos for others instead? :p I think I took over 300 photos for them LOL. Too many to choose from but I chose the photo below because it's one of the rare pictures that my grandma actually SMILES  for the camera.. xD

 Caption: 1... 2.. 3.. aunties! :x (Hope my mom doesn't see this. =D)

Kay, I'm out of words to say.....

Well, I got a little ambitious and decide to do some hair flipping :p Who could've guessed it would turn out like that at first try? HEHE. #AchievementUnlocked

I should stop trying to add captions below my photos..........

Hehe, in conclusion, this trip was more than I expected it to be.. Even though my money spent there was more than expected, I'm still happy I have such good buys =D I wouldn't have been able to survive without my grandma's convertible walking stick during the trip though! :x :p Because it can be converted into a seat, I kept hogging onto it while the rest were shopping for my own benefit HEHEHEHE.. One of the best inventions ever!!! I think I need one, then maybe I can sit on the MRT on my portable chair during peak hours whilst travelling from the East to the West for school... =D =D =D Sounds like a good plan eh.. Just hope I don't get stomped.. xD
